We sat there, the two of us, holding hands in circle of sorts. Waiting. Patiently for some divine inspiration. But it never came. So we went back to our normal lives. Yes, it was normal for me to drive three hours so people with multiple degrees and dreadful green outfits could drain blood from my body and lift up my gown so they could poke and palpate my stomach. That was normal. At least for me. And I wished I was you in a chaotic classroom taking an exam.
